SUPATAPE

Originally developed in the USA for the military, Next Generation SUPATAPE is a self bonding wrap made from a special high-quality silicone rubber compound which adheres to itself when wrapped under tension. SUPATAPE forms a non-conductive, air and water tight insulating seal.

SUPATAPE:

Resists Fuels, Oils, Acids, Solvents, Salt Water, Road Salt and UV Rays.

• Insulates 8000 Volts (per unstretched layer)

Directions for using SUPATAPE:

STEP 1

Clean surface being wrapped - Cut tape to desired length

STEP 2

Peel back a short length of the protective film, keep tape clean & dry

STEP 3

Begin with one complete overlap of the tape onto itself

STEP 4

Stretch while continuing to wrap object with “half laps” remove clear protective film as you go

STEP 5

End of tape at final layer should be completely positioned onto itself

Note: The SUPATAPE bond begins to cure immediately upon contact with itself. Repositioning or removal is not recommended after 2 minutes of wrapping. SUPATAPE will form a permanent, cohesive bind within 24 hours at room temperature. Store in a cool dry place.
